Drug-Free Workplace

Precision Steel is a drug-free workplace. If an offer of employment is made to you, you will be required to pass a drug testing prior to starting work. If you are ultimately employed at Precision Steel, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as set forth in the company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.

Pursuant to U.S. Department of Transportation regulations, applicants for positions that require driving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) at any time will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing prior to employment and will be subject to further testing throughout the period of employment. Applicants also will be asked to sign forms to release information from previous employers in all cases where driving a CMV was one of the job functions. Failure to sign the release forms will prevent Precision Steel from using you as a CMV driver.

Lifting Test

If an offer of employment is made to you for a position involving lifting, you will be required to pass a lifting test prior to starting work at Precision Steel.

Certification

I certify that all facts and information on this application are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that if any false information, omissions, or misrepresentations are discovered my application may be rejected and, if I am employed, my employment may be terminated at any time.

I authorize Precision Steel to investigate information provided on this application, my personal and employment history, work performance and other related matters as may be necessary to arrive at an employment decision. I hereby release Precision Steel from any and all liability of whatever kind and nature which, at any time, could result from obtaining and basing an employment decision on such information.

This employment application does not create a contract or offer of employment. If hired, I agree to conform to Precision Steel’s rules, policies and regulations, and I agree that employment is “at will” and employment may be terminated, with or without cause and with or without notice, at any time, by me or by Precision Steel. I understand and agree that the terms and conditions of employment may be changed, with or without cause and with or without notice, at any time by Precision Steel. I understand that no company representative, other than the President or Vice President – Operations, has any authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specific period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing.
