Machinist/Machine Operator

Essential Functions:  This job involves setting up, adjusting and operating manual lathes, mills and CNC equipment; utilizing technical drawings, written instructions and verbal instructions to produce dimensionally correct parts; deburring parts; testing and setting up tooling; inspecting parts before and after machining to verify conformance to specifications; and loading and unloading materials and parts from racks, tables, carts and pallets.

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Required Experience:  Ability to use precision measuring equipment.  Ability to read prints and drawings.  Math skills (adding, subtracting) and knowledge of fractions and decimal equivalents.  Familiarity with a manufacturing environment preferred.  Prior experience with metal working machinery and/or trade school or shop experience preferred.

Press Brake Operator

Essential Functions:  This job involves setting up and operating press brakes to bend and form materials; utilizing technical drawings, written instructions and verbal instructions to produce dimensionally correct parts; performing secondary processes (including but not limited to:  drilling, deburring and packaging) while the machine is running; testing and setting up tooling in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations to eliminate damage and ensure quality of parts; selecting and using proper dies and tooling; demonstrating awareness of bend allowances and how tools affect bend allowances; inspecting parts before and after production to verify conformance to specifications on the work order; loading and unloading materials and parts from conveyors, racks, tables, carts, pallets, baskets and boxes; reading work orders, labels, tags and other documentation regarding parts and materials, and ensuring paperwork is delivered to the proper location; and clocking in on work orders, moving completed work orders and paperwork to the next operation and entering the quantity completed.

Human Resources Generalist

Essential Functions:  Develop and execute recruitment strategies to fill various positions (screen job applications, conduct interviews for various positions and participate in hiring decisions); conduct new employee orientation; track and enforce the attendance policy, paid time off policy and other HR Policies; coach and counsel employees and supervisors to manage conflicts and improve performance; investigate and resolve employee complaints; oversee the employee appraisal process; conduct wage and benefits evaluations periodically and make recommendations for changes based on market rates, surveys and other applicable information; respond to employee questions regarding employment policies, benefits and various human resources topics; coordinate drug and alcohol testing; input, update and maintain wage information, deduction amounts and other applicable information in the payroll system; process payroll; file quarterly and year end taxes and provide W2s and other required tax forms to employees; participate in the annual review and renewal of insurance policies; provide insurance information and applications to employees, and notify employees when they are eligible to participate in a benefit plan; oversee 401(k) Plan administration activities such as: notifying employees when they are eligible to participate in the Plan, providing the necessary paperwork for enrollment and loans, informing the Plan Trustees about administration issues, and reviewing 401(k) statements and other information; assist with answering the phone; plan and coordinate special events, such as the company holiday party and employee appreciation events.

Physical Requirements:  Ability to see, hear and speak to communicate in person and over the phone; read printed materials and computer screen; ability to write and type, and use standard office equipment including computer, phone, photocopy machine, fax machine, scanner and paper shredder; maintain a professional appearance; ability to stand for periods of time; work in various temperatures; maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance at work and adhere to scheduled shifts, working extra hours as required.
